How It Works
PDF merging is just stacking multiple PDF files together. Think of it like stacking several piles of paper into one — it reads each PDF's pages in order and generates a new file containing all of them. The tool uses PDF.js to parse files and jsPDF to reassemble them. Everything happens in your browser, nothing is uploaded to a server.
Tips & Tricks
- • Make sure all PDFs have the same page orientation (all portrait or all landscape) before merging
- • Scanned documents tend to be large — consider compressing them first
- • Rename your files in order (01, 02, 03) before dragging them in to avoid confusion
FAQ
Will the merged PDF be very large?
The merged file size is roughly the sum of all input files. If it's too big, try compressing the images inside first, or run the result through a PDF compressor.
Can you merge encrypted PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs are not supported. You'll need to decrypt them first. This is for both security and technical reasons.
How many files can I merge at once?
No hard limit, but browser memory has its limits. Stick to 10 files or 200 pages max to avoid browser slowdowns or crashes.
